Open to all SCPMGA members.  The signup sheet and check envelope is located in the SCPMGA sign-up notebook.  Sign up and deposit a $20 check payable to "SCPMGA" with memo note "Match Play".

Format:

The Match Play Championship is a handicapped match play tournament. Each player is responsible for arranging and playing his own match with his opponent within a two week window. Match will be forfeited if either member does not meet the two week time frame. Ladder formatted pairing sheets will be kept up to date and posted in the pro shop.

Tees:

Senior Member Tees

Time:

Individually scheduled.  Tee times for finals.

Handicaps:

Current handicap from Senior Member Tees calculated on date of match.   Number of strokes determined by 90% difference of players’ handicaps (0.5 rounds up, 0.4 and lower rounds down). 

Pairings:

Individually scheduled. 

Flights:

Determined by participation – goal (4) flights.

Posting:

Record each match as tournament round using Equitable Stroke Control (ESC)

Prizes:

Assuming four flights: Each flight winner 10%, The overall winner get additional 30%, runner-up additional 20%, and third additional 10%.  Will adjust per participation.
